Swarm Conference

SwarmFest 2007

Conference of Agent-based Modelers and
Agent-based Modeling Platform Users

July 12-14, 2007

Hosted by:

DePaul University
School of Computer Science,
Telecommunications and Information Systems
(DePaul CTI)
Chicago, IL USA

Swarm Development Group is pleased to announce SwarmFest 2007, the 11th of our annual conferences of agent-based modelers and users of Swarm and other ABM platforms. The dates will be July 12-14: the conference will be July 13-14, with training classes and workshops on July 12. The conference will include regular presentations as well as a poster session. SwarmFest 2007 will be hosted by DePaul CTI, located on DePaul University's Loop campus in the heart of downtown Chicago.

SwarmFest is an interdisciplinary, informal conference that provides the opportunity to present and discuss innovative modeling work and tools and techniques for ABM. We especially encourage presentation of work that may be too new, esoteric, or methods-oriented for other scientific forums. Swarm Development Group also uses SwarmFest to gather feedback from the modeling community on development and support priorities.

The conference opening reception will be held on the evening of July 12, on the rooftop deck of the DePaul Center. All meeting sessions will be held in DePaul's CTI Center. All conference venues are within easy walking distance of each other, includig dormitories and nearby hotels.
