American Politics Minor

This minor is designed to provide the non-major with a survey of American political institutions and behavior. The minor consists of six courses (24 quarter hours). Students who participate in this program will be provided with a Political Science advisor who will assist them with course selection. The requirements are:

International Politics Minor

The minor in International Politics was designed for students who do not intend to study political science as their major field. Its purpose is to provide a coherent program of courses that will enable the student to develop a specialty in the domestic and international politics of regions outside of the United States. The minor can benefit students seeking a career with an international dimension.

The minor consists of six courses. Students who enroll in the program will be provided with a Political Science faculty advisor who will assist them in selecting their courses.,\

Public Law and Political Theory

This minor fuses public law with political thought. It is designed to enable students to see that legal questions are embedded in a larger body of philosophical writings about the meaning of social, political, and economic justice.
