Christina Benn received an internship involving editing and technical writing at Discover Financial Services Headquarters this past summer. As a result, she was asked to join the company full-time as a part of their Documentation Team. She works with fellow DePaul English graduate student, Matthew Meadath.

Kim Lewis (MAW) was recently hired as the full-time Writing Center Specialist at the College of Lake County. She handles the day-to-day workings of the Center and supervises forty-eight peer and specialist tutors.

Melanie Yergeau (MAW) will be presenting her paper, "In the Name of the Bee: Emily Dickinson and the Problem of Predestination," at the Sigma Tau Delta Midwestern Regional Conference in Eau-Claire, Wisconsin later this month. The paper began as part of an independent study with Dr. Rinehart and concerns the conflict between Arminianism and Calvinism in Dickinson's poetry.
