Candidates for each position must have a doctorate (ABD will be considered), or appropriate terminal degree in the relevant field by August 2008, an active scholarly agenda, and a strong demonstrated commitment to excellent teaching at the undergraduate level, both in their discipline and in DePaul’s general education and interdisciplinary programs. They will have an opportunity to work with DePaul’s many institutes and programs including the Center for the Culture and History of the Black Diaspora, the Center for Latino Research, the Humanities Center, and the Women’s and Gender Studies Program.

The College is committed to recruiting a diverse faculty to complement the diversity of its student body and the City of Chicago.
