DePaul University's department of history seeks candidates for a tenured-track, assistant professor position to begin September 2008.

Successful candidate will possess the ability to teach general education courses and participate in the interdisciplinary Japanese studies program is required. The ability to develop comparative/thematic courses in East Asian or transnational history would be a plus. The department offers a terminal MA in history. The successful candidate will have completed a Ph.D. in History by August 2008.
